Banana Moon Sunderland is a family run, independent nursery located near the city centre. With a background in education, the nursery director with her teaching experience conveys the ethos for a warm and nurturing environment in which children feel physically and emotionally safe. As parents of two children who also attended nursery from a young age, we are passionate about seeing everything from the point of view of the parent and put your child's needs first. Our newly converted nursery has bright, spacious, ventilated rooms with well resourced, inviting child care facilities. We have two secure outdoor areas, a sensory room and a designated dining room attached to the on-site kitchen where the chef cooks fresh meals on a daily basis.
